One of the funs in traveling overseas is you get to see different things than your own country. During my recent Guilin trip, I also find differences in their address plaques. I actually forgot to include a local favorite delicacy in my previous post on Guilin facts, check it out and comment if you like!
All our homes have its address plaque, haven’t we? But I am telling you all the address plaques in China are written in Mandarin, which is something uncommon in Malaysia. And their address plaques can be as simple as wall address plaques while some other are really artistic.

However, it was this someone in the Mickey Mouse suit that fascinating me the most during my recent China trip! He stands at the entrance of the world famous West Street every single night. At the back of his head is written “Ad Space for Rent”. It turns out to be a really creative way to attract prospective advertisers. Wanting to pinch his ears or even touching the cute Mickey Mouse? Do not even think of it because on his both ears are written “A Fine is Imposed for Touching, Pulling and Tapping”!

Ad Space for Rent?

Interesting, huh?
