Off to Maldives!

I will be off to Maldives tonight. I have been anticipating for this trip for quite some times. You know, Jam had not traveled for the whole of last year due to my wife was pregnant and then the born of my boy on Christmas Eve.

This Maldives trip will be a total new experience for me as Jam had never been to this part of the world before. I will be staying on a local fishermen island in the heart of Ari Atoll. I wonder can I see a Harley Davidson on the island, let alone finding Harley Davidson parts!

But for sure I know I can pronounce the word “Maldives” correctly now! Many of us including myself used to pronounce it “mal-dye-vees”, which is wrong. We should pronounce it the way Maldivians pronounce it. Instead, the word should be pronounced as “mall-deevz”.
